CIDNET MODIFICATIONS AND ENHANCEMENTS
Every year we incorporate new enhancements that will help each of the Tax System offices.  We have received suggestions for enhancements from the users of the CIDNET Property System that I will be reviewing to incorporate into our systems over the next year.  As the system has evolved since 1986, many of the existing features of your system have come from shared ideas from the offices and users in every one of our counties to help you day after day.

YOUR YEAR 2000 COMPLIANT TAX SYSTEM
I am happy to report that the CIDNET Year 2000 Tax System is ready to take you far into the new century.  The reliability of your proven system will continue to allow you to efficiently make deadlines in all aspects of the tax cycle to closing out Board of Review, County Clerk Tax Extension including Property Tax Cap, to getting the bills out on time, making every distribution on time, to balancing the Treasurer system year after year.

I have been reviewing other county tax systems available across the state of Illinois and their inability to provide even the basic functions of a tax cycle.  Many new companies have just started developing systems in an environment of costly technology which will be a much greater cost to counties, both financially and in the inability to perform.  Other companies are scrambling to put in place year 2000 system modifications to their existing systems or even scrambling to put in place the basic functions of a Tax Administration system.  Fortunately, your county does not fall into this category.

We will give all of our counties the opportunity to utilize many new state of the art technology processing and reporting with our systems, provide Internet applications, allow for Interfacing to GIS systems and create an "open database environment" where these new applications will work together with our existing systems to continue to bring you reliability and functionality that your county must have to operate sucessfully day after day.  As soon as all of your office workstations are running Windows 95/98/NT with Microsoft Office Professional we will begin to show you how to use all of these new features to help your offices.

As a software developer for Illinois Tax counties for over 14 years, we have listened carefully to the needs of the users, dealt with the ever changing Tax Laws and together with our entire CIDNET staff we are happy to bring you the best and most complete Tax Administration system that is available in the State of Illinois.
